OWWA Membership Requirements

If you’re an OFW, securing your membership with OWWA is important for protection and access to benefits while working abroad. Both new and returning OFWs can become OWWA members. The requirements are straightforward, whether you’re applying for the first time or renewing your membership.

For First-Time OFWs (New Members)

  1. Completed OWWA Information Sheet – Available at the office or downloadable online.

  4. Work Visa or Permit – Issued by your destination country and matching details with your contract and passport.
  5. OWWA Membership Fee – A one-time payment of US$25.00 or its equivalent in pesos.

Typically, first-time applicants coordinate with their recruitment agencies, who will guide you through the process.
